The sublime lime tree is an improved version of key lime. It grows to around 1.5 meters tall making it ideal for small gardens, balconies and container growing. The sublime lime tree requires minimal pruning and is generally easy to care for. Sublime is known for its prolific fruiting, producing full-sized, juicy limes with thin, deep green skin. Sublime limes have a classic, intense key lime flavour with a sharp zing, perfect for adding a tart touch to your culinary creations.
Sublime trees prefer warm climates and are moderately cold hardy, tolerating light frosts once established. However, protect them from severe frosts and wind chills. Consider planting your sublime tree in a sheltered spot for extra protection. Provide regular watering, especially during dry periods. Store limes in a cool, dark place like your refrigerator and they will last for several weeks.
