Carters Navel Orange Tree produce a sweet, juicy navel orange originating in California. These large seedless oranges have a thin, easy to peel skin. The fruit typically ripen in late winter or early spring (July to September). The oranges on the Carters Navel Orange Tree can remain juicy when left on the tree for up to 3 months, allowing you to enjoy fresh oranges for an extended period.
Carters Navel Orange trees are vigorous growers, but they are susceptible to frost damage. Ensure you plant them in a sunny sheltered position where they will get 6 to 8 hours of sunlight each day. Place frost cloth over the tree in winter if you get heavy frosts or snow. With its sweet juicy flesh, and long hanging period (the oranges stay ripe and tasty on the tree) it is a delicious addition to your citrus collection.
