Yuzu Miso Glazed Salmon

We love salmon, but fresh salmon at $50.00 kg in Pak n Save has become a food reserved for special occasions such as Matariki. The just cooked salmon is a delicious main dish with a bright, citrusy glaze.

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp yuzu juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Thinly sliced scallions (for garnish)

Method:

  1. Mix miso, yuzu juice, honey, and soy sauce in a bowl.
  2. Spread the glaze evenly over the salmon fillets.
  3. Marinate for 20-30 minutes if desired.
  4. Preheat oven to 200°C
  5. Place salmon on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until just cooked through.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions before serving.

Serve with rice and Asian vegetables such as Bok Choy
